The District Board of Northwood Technical College will accept proposals for the pre-qualification of general contractors for the following upcoming projects on the Rice Lake Campus. The project list is subject to change. Contractors as indicated in the package details must be prequalified for bidding on ANY Northwood Technical College project whether listed herein or not. Although these projects will be bid as completely separate projects, it is the intention of Northwood Technical College to use this prequalification process to identify eligible contractors for the projects. The Contractor shall be responsible for emailing the PDF packet to the designated place on or before the date and time specified. Proposals received after time of closing will be rejected and returned to the Contractor. Bids will not be accepted by any contractor that did not timely submit a completed prequalification questionnaire and supporting documents to the District Board. Omission of requested information, falsification of information, or failing to use the forms provided by the District may result in a finding of "not prequalified". The District Board reserves the right to amend the prequalification packet at any time. The District Board reserves the right to waive minor irregularities and omissions in the information contained in the prequalified application submitted and to make all final determinations. Additionally, a determination by the District Board that a contractor is prequalified does not amount to a final determination that such contractor is responsible or responsive for the purposes of bid evaluation. The District Board reserves the right to reject a prequalified contractor's bid, and the District board may additionally reject all bids if it determines such action is in its best interest. Contractors determined to be qualified to bid the project(s) will be notified after the proposals are reviewed and listed in the Project Manuals as approved contractors.
