Lee County Government Parks and Recreation is seeking an experienced, qualified individual or company for the Phase II Remodel at the Gymnastics Building, 2105 Nash St. Sanford, NC. Construct two (2) 4' x 13' Rooms, each with a single 3-0 door to cover electrical panels when entering building with two interior hollow core doors and two handle sets included. Construct one (1) 4' x 13' room with a single 3-0 door to cover sprinkler system in corner of building with interior hollow core door and handle set. Drywall exterior and unfinished interior. Paint and trim to match previous remodel area. Walls Constructed 16' tall. Construct three (3) 5/8" 20 gauge interior furred metal stud walls in front of existing PEMB walls and finish with 5/8" drywall to a height of +/- 16' tall to match work previously done in first phase of remodel only taller. Gable walls of building to be framed all the way into gable beyond 16' height. Approximately 300 LF of wall to construct and finish. Paint & trim drywall to match. Pressure wash and paint the front elevation of the building grey in color. Provide & Install coverings for 2 return air vents. Remove Pipe from the front of the building and unnecessary duct from left and right elevation and cover with new metal panels to cover openings created. Two (2) roll up doors are to remain exposed (1 to front elevation & 1 at dock area). Metal stud walls to be covered with 5/8" drywall on interior side only. No insulation figured in wall. Drywall to be finished and painted to match phase one remodel. Rubber cove base to match Phase 1 remodel. Electrical outlets in front right area are to be brought out from flush with sheetrock. Clean up and debris removal included. Contractors must show proof of contractor's license, 3 references, and certification of insurance. Lee County Government staff will send out a Clarification Addendum to all on or by October 3 rd outlining all project questions and answers. Front of building remove pipe and replacing with full sheet of metal siding 3. Remove two(2) individual louvers on left and right side of building and patch with matching metal siding. 4. Remove double louvers on left side of building and patch with matching metal siding from under gutter to the ground. 5. Interior walls shall have 1 coat of primer and two coats of paint to match Phase I painting. 6. Front exterior shall be pressured washed and painted gray to cover the existing color.
