The work of labor for the Radford "Joe" Murray Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades Project Contract "1" New Sludge Pump Installation & Structure Modifications - CWSRF Project No. CS010876-02. The principal items of work are detailed herein below: Installation of a New Sludge Pump - Labor Only Piping Modification - Labor Only Pump Station Modification - Furnish and Install. The Contractor is hereby advised that TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE on this project and that the contract time of 60 consecutive calendar days total and noted restrictions shall be strictly observed. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES WILL BE ASSESSED IF THE CONTRACT TIME IS EXCEEDED. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond for one hundred (100%) of the bid amount and a Payment Bond for one hundred (100%) percent of the bid amount and must secure his bond from a bonding company's representative or agent in the State of Alabama. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening bids has passed. The Owner reserves the right to hold the bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of receiving Bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, and to accept any bid considered advantageous to the Owner. The contractor shall not that funds for this project are provided through CWSRF (Clean Water State Revolving Funds) and ARPA Funds. All Applicable Federal Guidelines must be met. There will be no pre-bid meeting.
