Question Acceptance Deadline 10/06/2023 at 4:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online No -- Submit all questions about the Drawings or Specifications to the Engineer in writing no later than three (3) days prior to the time set for receipt of bids. -Start Construction: November 1, 2023 -End Construction: December 15, 2023 Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond payable to the Owner for five percent of the total amount of the bid on the form provided herewith. When the Agreement is executed, the bonds of the unsuccessful bidders will be returned. A Payment Bond and a Performance Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price, with a corporate surety approved by the Owner, will be required for the faithful performance of the Contract on the forms provided by the Owner * The Owner reserves the right to reject any bid at his/her soul discretion, and such rejection shall not give rise to a cause of action against the Owner or Engineer, or impose a requirement upon the Owner or Engineer to divulge the information upon which such rejection is based DSR 05-05-23-5089-001 SCOPE OF WORK - Contractor must be pull their own SWMP and be certified with the State. - Armor approximately 900-feet of Fountain Creek Bank. Riprap: D50 = 24" (VH), 4-feet thick. - All work must be outside of the Ordinary High-Water Mark (OHWM), along the active creek flow. OHWM will be determined at the pre-bid meeting. - Riprap toe to be 4-foot wide, 5-feet below creek bottom. - Riprap slope to be 2.5:1 (H:V). Riprap will have a horizontal length of 30-feet, and a vertical height of 12-feet. - The slope under riprap should be rough, not smooth, but not stepped. - Fabric on slope should be loose, not tight. - 3/4 " gravel layer over the fabric will be 6-inches thick. - Earthen slope above the riprap will be at 3:1. - A 2-foot wide, 2-foot-high berm, with 4:1 side slopes, will be constructed above the earthen slope. - All erosion control measures must be met per plans. The scope of work described above is intended for general overall project work and is not all inclusive of the work that will be required to complete the project by the contractor.
