Project No: 0501.22001.100 The Town/Village of East Rochester is looking to have constructed a new pole barn for the storage of equipment. The building would be 40 foot wide, 120 foot long, clear span within, clear height within of 16 feet, metal clad siding and roof, non-insulated building, gutters to splash block on both sides, snow guards on garage door side, a total of two man doors (one on each end), and five 16 foot wide by 14 foot tall insulated garage doors. Contractor would be responsible for full design, New York State licensed engineered stamped drawings, evaluation of bearing capacity and geotechnical, stakeout of building location and elevations, and grading adjustments to accommodate finish floor elevation and concrete pad. For grading adjustments, the contractor shall include 18 inch depth of structural fill, NYSDOT approved Crusher Run #2 stone compacted to 95%, with stone extending a minimum of 5 feet beyond perimeter of proposed pole barn. Structural fill within the building will need to be 8 inch below finish grade to accommodate the concrete pad. Concrete pad to be provided by Town/Village of East Rochester after contractor has established stone elevation. Building color to be blue with a light gray roof. Final color selection by Village Administrator. The proposed building is located within a 100 year floodplain. Contractor to include provisions for potential flooding to an elevation of 5 feet above finish concrete slab. The Town/Village of East Rochester will be responsible for all electrical, concrete slab, building apron, and final site restoration. The Town/Village of East Rochester, Monroe County, New York, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities, or to make an award to other than the low bidder.
