Construction of new retail locations. TIMELINE: This Request for Proposals (RFP) is an invitation by the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (the "LCBO") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Planning Professional Services for land use planning and urban design services on an as and when required basis, ADDENDUM 1 Q&A has been issued. The intent of this RFP is to select one (1) qualified proponent, with a minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience, with a dedicated team of minimum two (2) permanent land use planners, to provide the entire scope of work as outlined in this RFP Appendix B - RFP Particulars, for land use planning and urban design services. On a high level, the selected proponent will be expected to satisfy the following requirements: This procurement may be subject to Chapter 5 of the Canada Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and Chapter 19 of the Comprehensive Economic Trade Agreement ("CETA"). The LCBO expects all suppliers to adhere to the LCBO's Supplier Code of Business Conduct, which is available on the LCBO website under Doing Business with the LCBO. The Supplier Code sets out principles applicable to all suppliers (including both suppliers of beverage alcohol products and suppliers of non-alcohol goods or services) that wish to establish and maintain a business relationship with the LCBO. Provide comprehensive, reliable land use planning advice, and third-party opinions on general retail and commercial development related matters and issues throughout the Province of Ontario, Assist the LCBO in providing land use, urban design requirements, and transportation feedback from a due diligence perspective on existing as well as new site opportunities, Provide appropriate reporting to the LCBO in a timely fashion in accordance with LCBO requirements, and, Provide such other related services on an as required basis, as may be outlined in this RFP or when requested by the LCBO during the term of the agreement through the quotation process. Questions Deadline: October 11, 2023 at 4:00:00 PM Toronto time The term of the agreement is to be for a period of period of two (2) years, commencing on a date to be determined by the LCBO, with an option to extend the agreement at the sole discretion of the LCBO, on the same terms and conditions, for an additional term of up to eight (8) separate terms of one (1) year each. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
