The project consists of three (3) Divisions of work at three (3) sites including: Division 1 Well #4: Construction of a floodwall to minimum of 1' above base flood elevation around well site and electrical box. Division 2 Cedar Street Lift Station: Raise lift station vent and electrical boxes to minimum of 1' above base flood elevation. Replace 3 sanitary sewer manhole lids with a bolt down/gasketed lid. Install bollards around electric poles and pump station for protection from flood debris. Division 3 WWTP: Raising three (3) pump station lids to a minimum of 1' above base flood elevation. Extending sludge storage tank walls to a minimum of 1' above base flood elevation. Construct concrete walls and install flood barriers to waterproof biotower building to a minimum of 1' above base flood elevation. Raising electrical fixtures and biotower vent orifices to a minimum of 1' above base flood elevation. Install a check valve on drain outlet to the stream. A Notice to Proceed will be issued to the contractor within 10 days from approval of the construction contract. The work shall be completed in 140 working days. Cashier's check, certified check, certified share, or a bid bond payable to the City of Iowa Falls, Iowa in the amount of 5% of the total bid price submitted.
