Per Addendum 2 Bid Date was Extended Please call in advance of arrival to pick up drawings. The full plan deposit will be returned to contractors submitting bids provided all documents are returned in good condition within ten (10) days after the bid date. The full plan deposit will be returned to contractors not submitting bids provided all documents are returned in good condition at least seven (7) days prior to the bid date. PDF Construction Documents will be available at no cost to bidding General Contractors for convenience only. Should any discrepancies exist between PDF and hard copies of distributed sets, the hard copies shall retain contractual precedence. This project is funded through the North Carolina Office of Recovery and Resiliency (NCORR) with Hurricane Matthew Community Development Block Grant - Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) and Federal Emergency Management Agency funds. All federal CDBG requirements will apply to the contract. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with Section 109 and E.O. 11246 which prohibits discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Davis-Bacon Act, the Copeland Anti-Kickback Act, and Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act. Hyde County is committed to and supportive of efforts to effectively maintain and/or increase the use of Minority/Women-Owned Businesses and Historically Underutilized Businesses contract participation for Construction Projects, services (including professional and consulting services) and commodities purchases, and increase contract participation to offer employment, training, and contracting opportunities in accordance with Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. Bidders are advised that registration and issuance of validation of registration is a condition of contract award. The owner reserves the unqualified right to waive any informalities and/or to reject any and all proposals.
