Montgomery County Administration Building 11th Floor Renovation Project Pursuant to Section 153.54 Et. Seq., of the Ohio Revised Code, the Bidder Shall Submit a Bid Guaranty in the Form of Either: A) a Bond for the Full Amount of the Bid; or B) a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Letter of Credit Pursuant to Chapter 1305, Ohio Revised Code, in the Amount of Ten Per Cent (10%) of the Bid. The Successful Vendor Must Replace the Ten Percent (10%) Bid Bond With a One Hundred Percent (100%) Performance Bond Upon Award of the Bid. All Potential Bidders Shall Pay Particular Attention to the Following Provisions: A) the Bidder Shall Examine the Plans and Specifications Prior to the Pre-bid Conference and Be Ready to Raise Questions Concerning Any Unclear Matter in the Bidding Process. B) the Bidder Recognizes That the Purpose of the Pre-bid Conference is to Resolve Ambiguities, Inconsistencies, Errors or Omissions in the Contract Documents, and Interpretations Thereof Shall Be Made With a Preference to the Accomplishment of the Purpose of the Contract, Without Additional Cost to the Board. Engineer's Estimate: $206,670.00 Bids Shall Be Enclosed in a Sealed Envelope Identified as "administration Building - 11th Floor Clerk's Office and Breakroom Renovation Project" and Must Have the Full Name and Address of the Bidder on the Envelope. The County Commissioners Reserve the Right to Reject Any or All Bids and to Waive Any Irregularity of Bids, Should Same Be to the Advantage of the County. Questions and inquiries concerning this bid shall be directed to the person designated in the bid documentsfor receipt of such questions or, if no such person is designated, to Purchasing Department, 9 th Floor, P.O. Box 972, 451 West Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 45422-1403. All questions and answers covered at the pre-bid conference will be mailed to those in attendance at that conference Interior Renovation of 2 Areas (+/-1.029 Sf) for Business Use Within an Existing Office Suite (+/-10.513 Sf) on the 11th Floor of an Existing Office Building. Work Includes Architectural, Plumbing, Mechanical & Electrical. The Information Contained Within Pertains Solely to Architectural Design, Construction, Plumbing, Mechanical & Electrical for Offices, Copy Areas, Break Room and Meeting Room. Building Core and Remainder of the Office Suite is Existing to Remain. Fire Alarm System Modifications Are by Others (General Contractor) and Included Under Separate Submittal.
