The budget for the administration work is $45,000 with $500. The grant that will be administered includes $1.2 million for road reconstruction and facility improvement and $50,500 for food pantry services. The Town of Buckland seeks proposals from consultants to provide grant administration services for its 2022/23 Community Development Block Grant projects, Depot Street & Freight Yard Parking Lot Improvements and Food Pantry services. The maximum fee for grant administration is $45,000.00, plus up to $500.00 in administrative expenses. The contract period shall be from about October 15, 2023 until June 30, 2025. Buckland reserves the right to reject any proposal deemed not to be in its best interest or waive minor technicalities. Depot Street & Freight Yard Parking Lot Improvements West County Emergency Food Pantry Project Heather Bulter, Buckland Town Administrator at twnadmin@town.buckland.ma.us DEPOT STREET & FREIGHT YARD PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT The Depot Street and Freight Yard Parking Lot Project will reconstruct all of Depot Street (640 LF) and its adjoining Freight Yard Parking Lot (430 LF), both located in Downtown Buckland. It will make the following infrastructure improvements: o Replace 905 LF of asphalt pavement and pave 165 LF of gravel parking lot surface o Repair 83 LF of fieldstone retaining wall o Replace/reset 210 LF of existing granite curb and install 1,025 LF of new granite curb o Replace 78 LF of cement sidewalks and ADA ramps and install 1,155 of new sidewalk with ADA ramps o Replace 80 LF of existing drainage pipe and install 570 LF of new drainage pipe o Replace 1 catch basin, install 4 new catch basins and 6 manholes o Install one new light pole
