Berkeley County is requesting bids from qualified firms for the replacement of existing Pump Station No. 4 (PS004) located at 117 Hanahan Plantation Circle, Hanahan, SC and for Pump Station No. 22 (PS022) located at 137 Weeks Avenue, Goose Creek, SC. Both stations will consist of demolition of existing facilities and replacement with a new concrete wet well top slab, submersible pumps, piping, valves, generator, controls, and appurtenances. PS022 will include a new concrete wet well. PS004 will include variable frequency drives and a flow meter. Bids over $100,000.00 shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier's check in an amount equal to 5% of the bid. Deadline for Written Questions: October 6, 2023 at 12:00 PM EST The County reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities, to reject any or all Bids received as a result of this request, or to cancel in part or in its entirety this Proposal, if it is in the best interest of the County to do so. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project. The Contract Sum as stated in the County-Contractor Contract, including authorized change orders and modifications thereto, is the total amount payable by the County to the Successful Bidder for the performance of the Work under the Contract Documents. 5. THE WORK: The Work comprises the complete construction required by the Contract Documents and includes all labor necessary to produce such construction, and all material and equipment incorporated or to be incorporated in such construction.
