The failure or omission of any bidder to receive or examine any form, instrument or documents, shall in no way relieve any bidder from any obligation in respect to his proposal. The Town Board requires each bid to be accompanied by a certified check for a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, or a bond with sufficient sureties to be approved by the Town Attorney, in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the amount bid, conditioned that if his/her proposal is accepted, he/she will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the Contract as set forth in these contract documents. The successful bidder will be required to post a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. *The Town Board of the Town of Orange town reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bidding and to reject any and all bids.
