The City of Sevierville complies with all applicable federal and state civil rights laws, including but not limited to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of and the City does not discriminate based on race, color, gender, religion, age or national origin. By virtue of submitting a response to this solicitation, bidders agree to comply with the same non-discrimination policy. The Successful Bidder Must Be a Licensed Contractor as Required by the Contractors Licensing Act of 1976, and as Passed by the 89th General Assembly of the State of Tennessee and as Amended in Succeeding Assemblies. The Contractor Shall Have the Proper Classifications of License as Listed in the Rules of Tennessee Board for Licensing General Contractors-chapter 0680-1. The Owner may consider informal any bid not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions hereof, and may waive any informality or reject any and all bids. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. The Contractor shall pay to the Owner as liquidated damages the sum of five hundred dollars($500.00) for each calendar day that the Contractor shall be in default of completing the work within the time limit named herein. If deadline is not reached, damages will be assessed and deducted from the final payment to the Contractor.
