STAGE CURTAINS & TRACKS - The FPS is seeking to replace the original (1967) auditorium rigging/chain support and curtains in the Memorial Middle School with modern, inherently flame-retardant, polyster velour valance, traveler, border, and side leg curtains and related rigging chains and hardware. 1. Vendor shall refurbish and/or replace existing tracks, replacing damaged/worn parts as necessary. Replace all operating hardware on the existing tracks for Main Traveler, Rear Traveler and Legs, to include new Live and deadend pulleys, master carriers, slave carriers, tensioned floor pulleys and operating cords. 2. Relocate the existing projection screen as necessary to accommodate for new locations of curtains. 3. Install one (1) Main Valance Curtain panel at minimum quality specification of 20oz velour and color (TBD) 6'h x 40'w. The fabric must be inherently flame-retardant polyester velour, color - (TBD). To be sewn with 50% fullness using box pleats with appropriately sized top, side, and bottom hems. 4. Install two (2) Bi-Parting panels for the main curtain at minimum quality specification of 20oz velour and color TBD - 18'h x 23'w. The fabric must be inherently flame-retardant polyester velour, color TBD. Panels will be sewn with 50% fullness using grommet-in pleats. 5. Install four (4) Border Curtain panels at a minimum quality specification of 20oz inherently flame-retardant polyester velour, color TBD - 6'h x 40'w. Panel will be sewn with 50% fullness using box pleats. Top hem to have appropriately sized Nylon webbing with appropriate tie lines, side hems and a bottom hem. 6. Install three (3) pairs of Side Leg Curtain panels at a minimum quality specification of 20oz inherently flameretardant polyester velour, color - TBD - 18'h x 7'w. Panels will be sewn with 50% fullness using box pleats. Top hem to have appropriately sized Nylon webbing with s-hooks, side hems and a bottom hem with a separately sewn internal chain pocket. 7. Install two (2) Bi-parting Mid Draw panels at a minimum quality specification of 20oz inherently flame-retardant polyester velour, color - TBD - 18'h x 23'w. Panels will be sewn with 50% fullness using grommet-in pleats. Top hem to have appropriately sized Nylon webbing with brass grommets and s-hooks, side hems and bottom hem with a separately sewn internal chain pocket. 8. Install two (2) Bi-parting Rear Curtain panels at a minimum quality specification of 20oz inherently flame-retardant polyester velour, color - TBD - 18'h x 23'w. Panels will be sewn with 50% fullness using grommet-in pleats. Top hem to have appropriately sized Nylon webbing with brass grommets and s-hooks, side hems and bottom hem with a separately sewn internal chain pocket. 9. Replace the following for the rigging/chain support system. o all chain support for the rigging system with 3/16" proof coil chain, rated for overhead support; o New rated beam clamps to attach to the existing trusses o Connection points at both beam clamp and pipe/track with rated bolts and/or rated pin shackles (as applicable). o Pipe to be changed to schedule 40 1.5" iron pipe (painted black) with 18" internal support sleeves at splices and secured with lock nuts. o Tracks - change all carriers, cord, both end pulleys on each track and provide new floor pulleys.
