You are invited to submit your bid to furnish the materials and/or services described herein. Please submit your prices/fees net of all discounts. It is the intent of the City of Branson (City)that this Request for Bid promotes competitive bidding. It shall be the Vendor's responsibility to advise the Purchasing Department if any language, requirements, etc. any combination thereof, inadvertently restricts or limits the requirements stated in this Request for Bid to a single source. Such notification must be submitted in writing and must be received by the Purchasing Department not later than three (3) days prior to the bid opening date. The bidder to whom a contract is awarded will be required to furnish a payment bond on the forms provided, acceptable to the City of Branson, Missouri, in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the contract price, for contracts with a total value over fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00), in conformity with the requirements of Sec. 107.170 RSMo and the General Conditions. Reserved Rights The City reserves the right to make such investigations as it deems necessary to make the determination of the bidder's responsiveness and responsibility. Such information may include but shall not be limited to: current financial statement, verification of availability of equipment and personnel, and past performance records. The City of Branson intends to remove up to twelve (12) existing submersible wastewater pumps and three (3) above ground pumps and motors for inspection and evaluation by the pump manufacturer's area representative(s). Those pumps found to be in adequate condition for repair will be refurbished and placed back in service. Those pumps found not to be in adequate condition for refurbishment will be replaced based on the lowest and best bid for each application as provided in this RFB.
