Airport Runway Rubber Removal Routine Services The awarded contractor will provide all insurance, labor, materials, and equipment to remove rubber deposits and to repaint the centerline the full length of the Santa Barbara Airport Runway 7-25. License Requirements: D-38 Bid Bond: 0.00% Bidders are hereby notified that a Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid total will be required from the successful bidder for bids exceeding $25,000. Bidders are hereby notified that a separate Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid total will be required from the successful bidder for bids exceeding $25,000. A pre-bid meeting will not be held. The City of Santa Barbara reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof, or to accept any bid or any part thereof, or to waive any informality in any bid, deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Santa Barbara Questions and answers shall be submitted through the City's Bids portal, Q&A tab until 10:00 a.m., October 2, 2023. Contractor shall perform rubber removal work 2 times per year during dry weather conditions. Rubber removal work shall be scheduled with the Facilities Division at least 1 week prior. Work shall be approximately 6 months apart but may be scheduled earlier as needed. Work shall not be performed within 3 months of the previous rubber removal work. Centerline repainting will be as needed. For the purposes of bidding, assume 1 time per year.
