SCOPE OF WORK/PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS The successful contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, and materials necessary to supply and install one (1) solar light near the playground structure at each of the following parks: 1. Riverbend Park, 2534 N. Court St, Visalia, CA 93291 2. Houk Park, 2640 Royal Oaks Drive, Visalia, CA 93277 3. Pinkham Park, 1000 S. Pinkham Rd, Visalia, CA 93292 4. Constitution Park, 1139 S. Crenshaw, Visalia, CA 93277 The City of Visalia Purchasing Division is soliciting Bids from qualified contractors to supply and install (1) solar light near playground structures at four (4) Visalia City Parks. Bids are being sought from contractors who have a proven record of experience in providing the services required by this Invitation to Bid. This project is supported, in whole or in part, by federal award number SLFRP2005, awarded to City of Visalia by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Federal Funds being utilized for this project are American Rescue Plan Act Funds (ARPA). Tentative Date of Award: December 2023 Contractor must be able to begin the work as described within this bid upon receipt of the City's Notice to Proceed, issued in writing by the Purchasing Department. Time of Completion Deadline: The entire project must be completed within thirty (30) calendar days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed. The Notice to Proceed will be issued in writing by the Purchasing Department. The City will allow for lead time for receipt of the lighting equipment. Budget Estimate for this project is approximately $85,000. Deadline for submitting questions regarding this project is: Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. Prevailing Wages: Under the requirements of Labor Code section 1782 passed by SB7 and in compliance with City of Visalia Ordinance 2014-13, this public works project is subject to (Federal and State) prevailing wages as specified in this document and attachments. The City reserves the right to reject any item or items in the Bid; to waive informalities, technical defects, and minor irregularities in Bids received; and to select the Bid(s) deemed most advantageous to the City.
