West Chester University is soliciting contractors to provide repairs, maintenance, and renovation projects under $25,000.00 on an as needed basis. To accomplish this, contractors must bid unit prices that include hourly labor rates, % markups on materials, and subcontracts, and equipment rental. Hourly labor rates shall include all overhead and profit. If a contractor is selected, a standard Work Order Contract (2018K112) will be issued, all standard terms and conditions will apply and are not negotiable. It is anticipated that multiple contracts will be issued for each contract listed. Once a contract is accepted and signed by all parties, the University may issue Individual Work Orders (IWOs) for projects on an as needed basis. Directions: West Chester University directions and campus map available at electronically. Pre-Bid Questions: Questions are due Tuesday, September 26, 2023 by 11:00AM. Question must be submitted through the on electronically. Bid Period: Bids shall be valid for not less than 60 days. Pre-bid Conference: There is no pre-bid meeting scheduled. All bidders should visit the campus of West Chester University to thoroughly familiarize themselves with the existing conditions. Failure of the bidder to visit the site shall not be considered cause for an increase in the unit price bid. Contract Award : Lowest qualified, responsible bidder submitting a responsive bid. Multiple contracts may be awarded. Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds: Not required.
