Reference Number 0000256213 It is estimated that the TTC will require the supply of four (4) prefabricated precast beams (and the respective standard set of bearings) for each year of the Contract (i.e. 2024, 2025 and 2026). However, the TTC reserve the right to increase the required quantity up to 12 beams per year (and the respective bearings) and the Company shall ensure that they have the capacity to manufacture and supply beams and bearings to this indicated quantities. Presently, the Contract drawings are not available yet, they will be issued each year by January 15th, once the beam replacement list is updated annually by the TTC Inspectors. Occasionally, additional beams may be required after January 15th. The Terms of Reference contains sample drawings only (Reference Drawings) showing variations of various beams. These drawings are to be used for reference and estimating purpose only and not for fabrication. All beams and bearing pads are very similar in dimensions (width, length and height) and have some minor changes from beam to beam. The sample drawings (Reference Drawings) included have covered each extreme condition and addressed all possible variations. TTC offers for use its existing steel mold (owned by the TTC), which was previously used to fabricate precast beams. TTC cannot guarantee the performance and condition of the existing mold and as result the existing mold will be made available to the bidders for inspection and evaluation purposes during a pre-bid meeting as in indicated in the Contract Documents. The term of this contract shall be up to three (3) years with option to extend two (2) further terms of up to one (1) year, based on TTC discretion and negotiated pricing.
