The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, has a requirement for construction of the Oxbow, Hickson, & Bakke (OHB) Ring Levee portion of the Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan (FMM) Area Flood Risk Management Project, Cass County, North Dakota. The OHB Ring Levee's function is to reduce the risk of flooding to the three OHB communities and is located in the upstream staging area of the FMM Southern Embankment. A general decription of the project work includes, but is not limited to, earthwork, excavation, storm sewer piping, riprap placement, and turf establishment. See attached SPECS and PLANS for full details. This solicitation is issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) in accordance with FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding procedures. It is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The anticipated magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction with a size standard of $45,000,000. Payment and Performance Protection are required in accordance with FAR Part 28. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
