Proposed Bridge Replacement on Johnson Road over N. Fork Bull Run Creek in Union County, Tennessee. This payment WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. All Bidders must be licensed Contractors as required by the "CONTRACTOR'S LICENSING ACT OF 1976", and as passed by the 89th General Assembly of the State of Tennessee. The Bidder's name, license number, expiration date, and that part of the classification which applies to the Bidder must be placed on the sealed envelope containing the executed Proposal Form, otherwise, the Bid will not be considered. (Bidders on this project are required to be licensed for HRA-A,B,C,E and perform the majority of the work on the project.) All Contractors picking up bid packages must be Tennessee Department of Transportation pre-qualified to obtain plans. Each Bid must be accompanied by a certified check or by a Bidder's Bond executed by the Bidder and a surety company licensed to do business in Tennessee in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. This is required as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted within ninety (90) days of the bid date, the contract will be entered into within ten (10) consecutive days, and the performance of it will be properly secured. The successful Bidder will be required to execute an acceptable performance and payment bond in the amount equal to 100 percent of the Contract price. Union County reserves the right to waive any informalities in or to reject any or all bids.
