Dreiser Square, Terre Haute, IN
Remove and replace windows and exterior doors in 247 apartment units at the Dreiser Square complex, as well as associated work as defined in the project documents. The estimated construction start date is early December 2023 with completion in August 2024. Detailed bidding requirements will be listed in the Project Documents. The THHA reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, and to waive irregularities in any Bid. Bids are to be good for sixty (60) days. A contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The successful Bidder is required to furnish an Assurance of Completion and insurance as stated in the Project Documents. Contractor and all sub-contractors will be required to comply with all applicable Federal, State and Local regulations, codes and requirements. Contractor and all sub-contractors are required to pay a minimum of the Davis-Bacon prevailing wage and benefits current at the time of bid opening. The work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. THHA requires a drug-free and weapon-free workplace. Disadvantaged, WMBE, Veteran Owned and Section 3 businesses are encouraged to bid. The terre haute housing authority offers equal employment, contracting and housing opportunities regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sex, sexual preference, gender identity, glbt, familial status, handicap, disability or national origin. The Owners suggested contract goal for MBE utilization on this contract is 20%.
