Question Deadline 09/29/2023 at 10:00 AM PT The purpose of this RFI/RFQ is to obtain information about potential partners and to retain a qualified pool of professionals to help develop the District Student and Workforce Housing Plan. There is no established limit on how many contracts the District might enter into with various organizations. The District is seeking qualified partners to provide guidance in the following areas: o Real Estate Analysis: Market Analysis and Brokerage Services. Provide advice on site selection and opportunities including but not limited to new construction, acquisition/rehabilitation, leveraging public lands, and adaptive reuse. Identify locational efficiencies. o Development Services: Entitlements, Design, Construction, Environmental Compliance. o Housing Operations and Property Management: Management of student or workforce housing. Development and implementation of appropriate housing management policies and protocols. Guidance on estimated long-term maintenance and operational costs. o Public Relations: Promote public awareness of the District's housing initiative. Assist in planning and execution of charrettes, community forums, town halls, etc. to encourage stakeholder engagement and to generate ideas from the community and document public input. Coordinate with various District departments to track Student and Workforce Housing Plan implementation, including data on student progress and bed vacancy/availability. Assist with external government affairs outreach.
