The Project consists of the demolition and reconstruction of three (3) existing pedestrian public beach access walkovers in the Whalehead Subdivision in Corolla, North Carolina as described below: Item 1: Bonito Public Beach Access: Approximately 280 linear feet of wooden and concrete elevated walkway extending from Bonito Street and Lighthouse Drive rights-of-way to the Corolla oceanfront. Item 2: Sturgeon Public Beach Access: Approximately 210 linear feet of wooden and concrete elevated walkway extending from Old Sturgeon Street and Lighthouse Drive rights-of-way to the Corolla oceanfront. Item 3: Marlin Public Beach Access: Approximately 190 linear feet of wooden and concrete elevated walkway extending from Old Marlin Street and Lighthouse Drive rights-of-way to the Corolla oceanfront. There will not be a Pre-Bid Meeting. Concerns and or questions should be related in writing to Crystal Owens, Contract Purchasing Agent at Bids@CurrituckCountyNC.gov no later than 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.
