This project consists of the installation of a cascading rain garden system and four additional rain gardens varying in size from approximately 600 ft2 to 5,500 ft2 including the installation of over 7,000 container plantings. The project also includes the installation of approximately 337 LF of stormwater pipe, a pervious paver system, and a hydrodynamic separator. All wages paid for work under this Contract shall comply with requirements of the prevailing wage law of the State of Missouri, Sec 290.210 et seq., RSMo., as amended by the Division of Labor Standards, State of Missouri, and regulations promulgated by the Division of Labor. The successful bidder shall secure licenses imposed by law and ordinance and pay all charges. Per regulation 2 CFR 200.326(a) the bond so furnished shall be in the amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the total bid price,The Contractor shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond with surety approved by the City and on the forms approved by the City. Any inquiries or suggestions concerning the interpretation, clarification, or additional information pertaining to the Invitation for Bid shall be made in writing and submitted via email to the Buyer In submitting this bid, the bidder further agrees to pay to or allow the City as liquidated damages the sum of One Thousand dollars ($1,000.00), for each calendar day thereafter that the work does not achieve Substantial Completion. The Contractor agrees to bring the work to Final Completion within fifteen (15) consecutive calendar days from the date of Substantial Completion; the Contractor further agrees to pay to or allow the City as liquidated damages the sum of One Thousand dollars ($1,000.00), for each calendar day thereafter that the work does not achieve Final Completion. The Contractor agrees to bring the work to Final Completion one hundred ninety-five (195) consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The City reserves the right to (1) make awards to multiple Bidders, by item, group of items, all or none, or a combination thereof; (2) to reject any and all Bids or waive any minor irregularity or technicality in any Bids received; and (3) to disregard all non-conforming or conditional Bids or counterproposals.
