Method of Award: This is an RFQ (request for quotes). This is not an IFB (bid). The Broome DDSO intends to award the contract to the most responsible and responsive vendor that provides the lowest cost and meets the requirements detailed in the scope of work. Upon request, vendor must demonstrate 2 years of relevant experience on prior projects of similar magnitude and its subject to vendor responsibility determination. Broome DDSO reserves the right to reject any and all quotes. In deciding whether to submit a quote, please be aware the awarded vendor must adhere to the time frames outlined in the scope of work. The awarded vendor will also be required to submit certificates of Liability Insurance and Worker's Compensation Insurance as well as completed Lobbying Law Forms, and signed Appendix A. Please be prepared to submit these in a timely fashion. The Broome DDSO will make no concessions to the vendor for any alleged misunderstanding or deception because of quantity, quality, character, or other condition. The Broome DDSO's interpretation of specifications shall be final and binding. Please note, all staff working at the project site will be required to sign an attendance sheet for record purposes. This includes the residence visitor log and/or an attendance sheet provided by the Maintenance Department. In the event of a tie, contract will be awarded to the Contractor whose bid was received earliest. Prevailing Wages: Schedule PRC #: 2023010949 NYS Labor law requires that all contracted employees performing maintenance, repairs or capital improvements in state owned buildings receive the prevailing wage and supplements rate for the occupation in which they are working. Certified payroll record/s MUST be submitted at the time of invoicing. . Without submittal of certified payroll record/s, payment will not be made. Information on prevailing wage can be found online. If you need any assistance understanding prevailing wages, please contact NYS DOL at (607) 721-8005 Please check your submission for arithmetic errors and correct labor wages. Broome DDSO reserves the right to reject any quote which does not reflect the correct prevailing wages in accordance with the provided wage schedule. Tabulation of quotes will be posted to the listings on NYS Contract Reporter along with the award. Contract term: Within 60 days of receiving the purchase order Quotes may be hand delivered, mailed, fax, and or emailed as long as they are RECEIVED in the Business Office prior to the deadline. Contractor to replace all existing cabinets and countertops per the attached drawing. Contractor to field verify all dimensions and site conditions. 2. Contractor shall be responsible for the demo and removal of all existing cabinets and countertops and associated debris created during this project. 3. Contractor shall be responsible for disconnecting all appliances and to reinstall them upon completion of work. 4. Cabinets and countertops installed shall be built and installed per the attached drawings and subject to owners' approval. 5. All work must be completed according to all applicable codes, industry best standards, and manufacturer's instructions. 6. Job will not be considered complete until the job is verified and accepted by Plant Superintendent of designated supervisor. 7. All work must be warrantied to be free of defects in workmanship for one year after completion of work. 8. This project is time sensitive. Once existing cabinets and countertops are removed the new cabinets and countertops need to be set and the kitchen functional in a weeks' time.
