The contractor shall coordinate all work with the utility companies in the areas of construction. Information regarding existing utilities has been collected from various sources and the contractor is advised that underground object locations, elevations, or types are not warranted to be approximately correct. Nor can they be assumed to be the only subsurface objects, proposed or existing, which may be encountered during the excavation of the work. The contractor shall make all necessary investigations prior to bidding to satisfy himself as to the existing conditions. All Requests for Information (RFI) must be submitted by email to Bennett Matlack, at bmatlack@cmeusa1.com by September 28, 2023, at 12:00 PM. The deadline for submitting inquiries prior to bid is 12:00 P.M., September 28, 2023. Submit inquiries in writing It is recommended that each bid be sent by U.S. Mail to the Camden County Division of Purchasing, Courthouse 6th Floor, 520 Market Street, Camden, NJ 08102. If hand-delivered, bids must be left in the bin accessible from the 6th Street entrance of the Courthouse at 520 Market Street, Camden, NJ 08102. Bin access is 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM only. The County assumes no responsibility for delays in any form of carrier, mail or delivery service causing the bid to be received at the Division of Purchasing later than the above-referenced scheduled opening. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27) and N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1999, c. 238 (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq,) where applicable. All bidders are responsible for obtaining complete bid documentation from the County at the address listed above. In the event of any inconsistencies between this advertisement, as published, and the bid documentation, the bid documentation shall control. Prospective bidders are advised that the Project is subject to a Project Labor Agreement (PLA). The PLA will be binding upon all Contractors performing on-site Project work, as defined in Article 3 of the PLA.
