The Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District is looking for submissions for the repainting of runway line markings at the Long Beach Airport. The ACRD's Long Beach Airport CYAZ, located at 188 Airport Rd, Tofino, BC V0R 2Z0, requires repainting of line markings at the following locations. Two 5000-foot runways and associated taxiway and apron markings are to be renewed as follows: Rwy 07-25 5000' L x 150' W Rwy 16-34 5000' L x 100' W Rwy side stripe marking to be width to .9m Associated taxiway and apron marking locations. (6) Sets of taxi hold markings to be renewed with black background. Approx 1471 m of new (yellow) centre line markings to be renewed on Twy A, B, C, F, G, H Remaining Rwy lead in lines and Twy centre lines to be renewed. Apron III, vehicle corridor to be renewed (white 710m) including new paint Twy F BC Ambulance stagging area to be resprayed (yellow) North of Twy F. 6 new runway hold lines to be installed on Rwy 07/25 and 16/34. Layout for these hold lines will be required as they do not exist at present. Airside escort services and site support are to be provided free of charge by the ACRD. Vendors will adhere to the following standards: Work to be carried out in accordance with Transport Canada Document TP312 Aerodrome Standards and Recommended Practices. Paint: Sherwin Williams Setfast Premium Alkyd Zone marking paint or equivalent. Paint product to be applied in accordance with manufacturers recommendations. CLEANUP: Upon completion of work, remove all materials and equipment from the site. Disposal of all materials to be in strict accordance with local bylaws and provincial statues. Not awarded. Plans to re-tender has not been determined.
