**As of September 13 , 2024 project has not been awarded , Anticipated award date is on September 23, 2024 .** The scope of work generally includes the following: Work includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary or required to perform and construct, complete in place and in satisfactory condition, remove and replace sidewalk, remove and replace driveway, root pruning, curb & gutter and all related items as shown on the plans and specified herein and as directed by Project Manager in the field. Removal and replacement of concrete sidewalk, driveways, curb and gutter shall be in accordance with Appendix A. Bids are required for the entire work described herein in accordance with the instructions to bidders. The term of the contract shall be for one year or until the contract budget is exhausted whichever comes first from the award date. The Contractor shall possess a Class A California contractor's license at the time this contract is awarded. Bids must be accompanied by a Proposal guarantee amounting to ten (10%) percent of the bid as described in the specifications . The allotted time to complete the project will be 80 working days (standard 5-day work week). The City reserves the privilege of rejecting any and all proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any proposals or in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw his proposal for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the date set for opening of proposals.
