6.1 The intent of this bid is to secure firm fixed pricing and select multiple contractors to provide new casework and cabinet installation and the repair of existing casework and cabinets on an as needed basis. 6.2 The awarded contractor is responsible for supplying, at its own expense, all supervision, labor, equipment, machines, tools, materials, transportation, incidentals and related items necessary to complete the work in accordance with this bid. 6.3 Contractor shall be familiar with and comply with all federal, state and local laws, codes, rules and regulations. Projects may require contractor to obtain an individual permit issued by the St. Johns County School District Facilities and Construction department. 6.4 Contractor may not subcontract any work without the prior written approval of SJCSD. If subcontractors are approved by SJCSD, the subcontractors must be in compliance with all general and special conditions of this bid. The contractor shall be responsible for the action of its subcontractors and the actions of its subcontractor's employees and agents. 6.5 Contractor shall coordinate all work with an authorized SJCSD representative. Contractor is required to coordinate the work schedule around school activities. Work may be required during the day, evening, or weekends. Contractor shall provide the name, email address and cell phone number of a single contact person for the request for quotations, coordination of service and any other related matters.
