Hall County Candler Road Landfill Cell 3 Construction. Bidder's Questions Due Date: Thursday, September 28, 2023 A Bid Bond is required at 5% of the proposal cost. The County reserves the option to reject any or all bids, in whole or part, or to select any bidder, without liability on part of the County to the Bidder to complete the described Work. Hall County, Georgia Board of Commissioners is seeking qualified Contractors to provide for the construction of Cell 3 in the Candler Road Landfill per the Scope of Work as outlined in the IFB #024-44. The County seeks to award one (1) Contractor to perform all the services. The County reserves the right to retain all bids submitted and use any idea(s) in a bid regardless of award. The County shall have the right to waive any informality or irregularity of immaterial deviation in any bid received. The County reserves the option to reject any or all bids, in whole or part, or to select any bidder, without liability on part of the County to the Bidder to complete the described Work. The project provides for the construction of a new landfill cell 3 within Phase 2 of the Candler Road Landfill. Work for this contract consist of excavating the excess soil within the cell footprint, stockpiling or placing and compacting at other locations at the site, constructing a base cell liner system, HDPE flexible membrane liner, leachate collection layer, leachate collection pipework, forcemain, manholes, sumps, and pumping system.
