The Work includes the provision of all equipment, labor, and materials necessary to complete the construction of the following, as specified and shown in the Construction Documents: Construction of Well 1A and associated well pump foundation, Construction of Well 2A, Abandonment and demolition of the existing Well 1 and Well 2 (or conversion to Monitoring Well). All Work must be completed within 180 calendar days from Date of Award. Certain construction activities must be complete within specific calendar time frames as a result of various work sequencing requirements identified within the Contract Documents. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond, in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price. if awarded the contract, will enter into a contract and will furnish the necessary insurance certificates, faithful performance bond, and labor and material bond, within ten (10) working days after receipt of the contract and/or Notice of Award from the Owner. Each required bond shall be the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price. The successful bidder shall post a copy of such determinations at each job site. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the prevailing rate of wages shall be paid to workers of Contractors and Subcontractors on this Project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informality or irregularity in any Bid and to make awards in the interest of the Owner, including award to other than the lowest bidder.
