The Bay County Board of County Commissioners (County) seeks bids from qualified bidders to perform hot taps at 32 lift stations. Bids shall include all labor and materials needed to install all valves, fittings and perform taps on the effluent line of the lift stations to facilitate the installation of backup pumps. All work and materials shall meet the requirements of Bay Countys Standards and Specifications. The Bay County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals in the best interest of Bay County. Bidders shall submit all questions, in writing, to the Purchasing Department via email Purchasing@baycountyfl.gov, the Bonfire portal, or FAX to (850) 248-8276. All questions shall be submitted no later than 5:00 pm (CDT) Friday, September 29, 2023. The County desires to hire a Contractor to provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, and supplies to perform 32 taps on lift station effluent lines. Work includes but is not limited to: all labor and materials needed to install all valves, fittings and perform taps on the effluent line of the lift stations to facilitate the installation of emergency backup pumps. All work and materials shall meet the requirements of the manufacturer to maintain the warranty and Bay County's Standards and Specifications At project completion, the Vendor shall furnish, on sheets not larger than 24 inches by 36 inches, as-built drawings of utility lines, stormwater pipes, and structures showing any deviation from the plans and specifications that exceed 0.1 feet in vertical elevation and 1 foot in horizontal location and any change to the type of construction material and size. The as-built drawings shall be signed and sealed by a Florida licensed professional land surveyor or professional engineer.
