The proposed work consists of the demolition and reconstruction of warehouses and other associated works. Associate works include construction of truck loading canopies, equipment sheds, asphalt paving (new and overlay), gravel road, refurbish existing rail system and re-establish grade (rail bed and ballast), install fire water loop and hydrants, elimination of depressed truck loading area, upgrade the drainage system, demolition of existing conveyor system, procure and install conveyor system, hard car unloaders, and rail car winch. The project will be a Design-Build procurement. The project is located at Bainbridge Terminal, Bainbridge, Georgia. The Georgia Ports Authority (GPA) will receive sealed Design-Build Proposals for the Bainbridge Terminal Improvements project. All investigation works shall be as per the requirement set out in Contractor's Awareness document as annexed with the RFP.
