Scope of Work: The selected engineer will be responsible for performing engineering services through project closeout, adhering to federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and policies. The scope of work includes preparing plans and specifications, distributing bid documents, assisting in bid opening and bid tabulation, executing construction contracts, conducting pre-construction conferences, and performing construction inspection, including periodic reports and payment approval. Proposal Submission: All proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the language: "Proposal for DRA Engineering Services." Evaluation Criteria: Proposals will be evaluated based on the following factors: Qualifications (40 points) Experience (40 points) Capacity for Performance (20 points) Selection Committee: A selection committee designated by the City will evaluate each proposal. Contract Award: The City will award a contract to the qualified individual or firm whose proposal receives the highest cumulative points from the selection committee and is determined to be the most advantageous to the City, considering price and other factors. Contract Type: Individual contracts will be executed for each awarded project, and contracts will be on a fixed price basis. Right to Reject Proposals: The City reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals. The City also has the authority to terminate the selection process at any time. Scope of Work Includes but is Not Limited to the Following: 1) Prepare Plans and Specifications, 2) Distribute Bid Documents, 3) Assist in Bid Opening and Prepare Bid Tabulation, 4) Assist in the Execution of Construction Contracts, 5) Hold Pre-construction Conference, and 6) Perform Construction Inspection Including Periodic Reports to the City and Approve All Payment Requests
