Carteret County Government is seeking proposals to renovate the restroom facility at the Newport Elementary Ballfield located at 1908 Johnson Street, Newport, NC 28570. o The Contractor shall remove and dispose of all shingles, decking, fascia, soffit, trim, gable siding, three (3) doors with frames and interior ceilings. o The Contractor shall disconnect and reinstall lighting and electrical service pole per code. o The Contractor shall furnish and install all new decking, #30 felt, drip edge, pipe flashing/boots, CertainTeed Landmark (Weathered Wood) shingles or equivalent, wooden soffit, fascia, trim, Hardie board siding, wooden ceilings and three (3) exterior fiberglass doors and frames. o The Contractor shall sister roof rafters/joist, if required. o The Contractor shall paint all trim, soffit, fascia, siding and ceilings with a white exterior paint. o The Contractor shall reuse existing key cylinders for the deadbolts, install new closers and replace all hardware to match. o The Contractor shall coordinate with Duke Progress to deenergize, if required. o The Contractor shall submit any and all warranty documentation on behalf of the County. o Any damages caused by the Contractor shall be the Contractor's responsibility to fix or replace at the County's discretion. o The Contractor shall verify any and all measurements pertaining to all fields of construction. o The Contractor shall contact the POC for a site visit, if required. o The Contractor shall obtain the required permits, if required, give all notices to the POC (including a copy of any permits), and comply with all laws, ordinances, codes, rules and regulations bearing on the conduct of the work. Permits shall be posted onsite at project location. No time extensions shall be granted or financial consideration given to the Contractor for time or monies lost due to violations of any such ordinance, code, law or regulations that may occur. Proposals will not be accepted after the due date assigned. Please provide your proposal with break outs for labor, materials and tax if applicable.
