This contract consists of the purchase of one (1) new inground water booster pump station, equipment & controls and all other necessary appurtenances for a complete and fully operable water booster pump station as specified. Installation of the in-ground water booster pump station, associated equipment and appurtenances is not part of this project. Each Bidder must accompany his/her bid with a Bid Bond in amount of not less than five (5) percent of the base bid. No Bidder may withdraw his/her bid for a period of 90 days. The Bidder awarded the contract shall execute a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond and shall furnish insurance as required, in the General Conditions. This contract shall be completed within 240 calendar days after date of authorization to start work. Liquidated damages will be $100 per calendar day. Any bid that is obviously unbalanced may be rejected. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive informalities. Bidders must have experience with similar type projects in congested areas where multiple utilities are located. A list of references will be requested and thoroughly reviewed.
