The Airport has had injury claims on this ramp in the past. Reconfiguration of the ramp will allow better access for the traveling public to access the seaplane facility in a safe and efficient manner. This project will be funded through the Passenger Facility Charge Fund, Application #2, though Application #2 must first be amended to increase cost of the project, per the engineers estimate. Project is included Ketchikan Gateway Borough Fiscal Year 2025-2029 Page no 31 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The ramp is too steep to meet applicable standards. The Airport has had injury claims on this ramp in the past. Reconfiguration of the ramp will allow better access for the traveling public to access the seaplane facility in a safe and efficient manner. Fiscal year 2024-2029 *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
