The Project includes the following Work: Overview: The Scope of Work shall consist of construction tasks necessary to meet the plans and specifications for water and civil upgrades to four North Dakota State Parks. The water portion of the project will bring or upgrade water services to the state park's individual RV camper sites. The civil portion of the project will consist of RV pad site improvements and a roadway realignment at two of the state parks. The scope of work outline is for the following North Dakota State Parks: 1. Fort Lincoln State Park - Mandan, ND: a. Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park water upgrades will add water hydrants to approximately (41) sites located in the South Loop and Middle Loop. b. Site civil upgrades will involve reconfiguration improvements to approximately twelve (12) RV campground sites in the South and Middle Loops. The improvements will reconfigure the existing RV pads to improve user access. 2. Lake Metigoshe State Park - Bottineau, ND: a. Lake Metigoshe State Park water upgrades will add water hydrants to approximately (44) sites located in the Washegum Loop. 3. Lewis and Clark State Park - Epping, ND: a. Lewis and Clark State Park water upgrades will add water hydrants to approximately (47) sites located in the Bluebird, Meadowlark, and Pintail Loops. b. Site civil improvements will provide roadway realignment upgrades at the dump station (near RV site 73) and reconnecting the roadway to the boat ramp. 4. Grahams Island State Park - Devils Lake, ND a. Grahams Island State Park water upgrades will add water hydrants to approximately (100) sites located in the Howard Loop and Ziebach's Loop. ***NOTE: Electrical coordination will be required as part of this contract. Construction of these electrical improvements (Contract 2023-02 - Electrical Improvements) are intended to coincide at the same time and duration of this contract. Required coordination with the electrical improvement contractor will include all aspects of scheduling, planning, sequencing, means and methods, construction, inspections, as-builts, punch lists, and completion of the project. NOTE: Electrical coordination will be required as part of this contract. Construction of these electrical improvements (Contract 2023-02 - Electrical Improvements) are intended to coincide at the same time and duration of this contract. Required coordination with the electrical improvement contractor will include all aspects of scheduling, planning, sequencing, means and methods, construction, inspections, as-builts, punch lists, and completion of the project. The Project has an expected duration of 90 days and an expected completion date of November 15, 2024. It is very likely that all on-site construction will occur in the 2024 Calendar year. Each Bid must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a copy of a current and valid North Dakota Contractor's License issued at least ten (10) days prior to Bid opening, and a Bidder's Bond in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the full amount of the Bid, executed by the Bidder as Principal and by a Surety, conditioned that if the Principal's Bid is accepted and the Contract awarded to Principal, the Principal, within ten (10) days after notice of award, shall execute a Contract in accordance with the terms of the Bid and a Contractor's Bond as required by law and regulations and determinations of the North Dakota Parks & Recreation Department. Bidders shall submit proof of qualification to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders.
