The City of Charlottesville requests a price quotation for the services described in the "Scope Of Service" section provided below. This solicitation is subject to the provisions of the City of Charlottesville's General Terms and Conditions and any other special terms and conditions provided within this document. The City will assume no responsibility for oral instructions, suggestions, or interpretations; any questions regarding these bid documents shall be directed in writing, and any material changes will be submitted to all bidders. Award shall be based on determination of the lowest responsive responsible bidder. PART 1: GENERAL All work described herein and in the Related Documents is included as part of this solicitation unless otherwise specified. The scope of services generally includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: A. Removal of the existing conductor cable; B. Removal of the damaged mast arm (40 ft) and existing signals; C. Removal of the damaged mast arm traffic pole (upright) and concrete signal base; D. Replacement of the new mast arm traffic signal pole (upright), to include terminal strip installed in upright, and concrete signal base (signal pole base soil test bores should be performed prior); E. Replacement of new mast arm; F. Reinstallation of existing associated cabling and signals; G. Provision of all necessary traffic control, with all such efforts in full compliance with the American with Disabilities Act and with standards and guidelines set forth in the Virginia Work Area Protection Manual
