Guadalupe Union School District (District) will receive proposals for the following project: New Junior High School and Early Childhood Learning Center Projects The project consists of the construction of a New Junior High School (JHS) including, a multipurpose room with locker/restrooms and related spaces, office and library building, two modular classrooms with 8 classrooms each, and site work on the 12 acre site with associated utilities and improvements. The classroom and office/library construction will be modular construction which the District may opt to procure directly with the manufacturer. Additionally, the District may elect to include the Early Childhood Center (ECC) to the effort (under a separate and partially concurrent contract to the JHS) depending on the response and qualifications of the proposing firms and the firms ability to bring the projects in on budget. To propose on this Project, the Proposer is required to possess one or more of the following State of California contractors license(s): B Proposing firms and subcontractors are required to be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to the Labor Code. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and/or waive any irregularity in any proposal received. If the District awards the Contract, the security of unsuccessful developer(s) shall be returned within sixty (60) days from the time the award is made. Unless otherwise required by law, no proposer may withdraw its proposal for ninety (90) days after the date of the proposal deadline.
