The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in the specifications including the installation of five water valves on existing water mains in the Village water system. Including all site work, excavation, grading, fill, pavement replacement and marking, and finishing work. All bids must be made on the official Bid Form or an exact copy by reproduction thereof and enclosed in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the project title "Village of Argyle Water Valve Installation Project". All bids shall be valid for a period of 30 calendar days after the bid date. The Owner is exempt from sales and compensation use taxes of the State of New York and of Cities and Counties on all materials to be incorporated into the Work. These taxes shall not be included in the Bid. The work is subject to prevailing NYS Wage Rates as well as the requirements for equal employment opportunity. The Village shall award the contract to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive, or conditional Bids.
