Moose Cree First Nation is requesting proposals for the supply of a four train conventional treatment system with granular activated carbon filters for a new water treatment plant in the community. Generally, the works are to include: 1.shop drawings 2.conventional treatment and granular activated carbon system assembly 3.chemical feed system 4.monitoring and control instrumentation 5.SCADA system 6.O&M manuals 7.start-up, commissioning, and training. The scope of work includes the preparation of shop drawings, design, fabrication, supply, delivery, inspection of installed equipment, start-up, commissioning, operations and maintenance manuals, operator training, and acceptance testing. The scope of this section consists of the supply of all labour, materials, consumables and equipment necessary for the control and monitoring of the treatment system and water treatment plant. Include everything requisite and necessary to properly operate entire facility, notwithstanding that every item may not be specifically mentioned. Provide a control system to control raw water pumps, filter effluent pumps, water treatment process, chemical feed processes, water treatment plant, and treated water distribution pumps, including all alarm functions and metering and monitoring of various treatment streams. A genset will be provided (by General Contractor) to operate all equipment in the water treatment plant. Below is a partial listing of equipment (supply by others) to be controlled and monitored: .1 Control system for building heat and ventilation. .2 Ultra-violet disinfection units. .3 Intrusion alarm. .4 CCTV security system. .5 Actuated valves. .6 Raw water pumps. .7 Distribution pumps. .8 Wastewater systems. .9 Chlorine gas dosing system and associated monitoring instruments.
