As of October 24, 2023 this project was awarded to A&J Contractors Group Inc. with the awarded amount of $565,301.50 2022 Roadway Improvements Various Streets 2022 - Harrison William Street, Davis Avenue and Cross Street The project entails the milling and resurfacing of William Street, Davis Avenue and Cross Street. The work shall also include the replacement of handicap curb ramps, curb, deteriorated sidewalk, minor base repair at select locations and catch basin reconstruction within the project limits. Bid Security is required in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid, but not in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) Certificate from a Surety Company is required indicating consent to be bound as surety and guarantor for performance required under the Contract Documents Bidders are required to submit a certificate from the New Jersey Department of Labor establishing that the bid is registered pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act (P.L. 1999, c.238) Public Bid Opening and Reading: Place: Town of Harrison, Municipal Building, Council Chamber, 2nd Floor, 318 Harrison Ave., Harrison, NJ Bidders are required to comply with the provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, Chapter 150 of the Laws of 1963, effective January 1, 1964, and with the requirements of P.L. 1975, C. 17(N.J.A.C. 17:27), Affirmative Action Program, and N.J.S.A. 10:2- 1 et seq. All Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27.
