A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority (NJSEA) is seeking bids for a contractor experienced in transformer reconditioning work for the Meadowlands kVa transformer. The location is the New Jersey Sports & Exposition Authority Meadowlands at 50 State Route 120, East Rutherford, NJ and will comprise of a transformer reconditioning as specified in the bid. All perspective bidders must register by emailing njseabids@njsea.com due to COVID safety requirements. A maximum of two people from each bidding firm may attend and strict COVID safety protocols are to be adhered to at all times. Any firm attending the bid walk must meet the outlined requirements in the bid documents. All firms who attend the bid walk must submit all questions and concerns by Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. In accordance with Public Law 2004, c.57, the NJSEA may only enter into contracts with Bidders who provide proof of valid business registration with the Division of Revenue in the Department of Treasury, of the State of New Jersey. Such proof must be submitted concurrently with the bid. In order to insulate the award of state contracts from risk of improper influence, the NJSEA shall only enter into a Contract with a Bidder who complies with Public Law 2005, C.51, Executive Order 117, and Public Law 2022, c.3. The required forms and instructions are included in the bid. NJSEA reserves the right to reject any and all bids and, so far as permitted by law, to waive any irregularity or informality with respect to any bid. The NJSEA further reserves the right to make such investigations as it deems necessary as to the qualifications of any and all firms submitting bids. In the event that all bids are rejected, the NJSEA reserves the right to re-solicit bids.
