Project Scope: 2023 Fiber Optic Network Expansion to add resiliency to the City of Tuscaloosa's fiber optic network by placing overhead utilities underground, run redundant underground routes to existing service locations and expand to new service locations through installation of underground conduit. The City will provide Junction boxes and Conduit. Contractor will call in their own locates, do the boring, and pull the City's conduit in and install provided junction boxes. All underground bore pipe shall be fusion joined by Contractor and not mechanically coupled. Award of the contract will be made within forty-five (45) calendar days from the date of the bid opening.
