This project consists of installing an exhaust fan system in order to reduce humidity problem in the basement/garage space. Previously the space was used to refill city trucks with a saline solution for treating roads and will now be used as paper storage. The system will utilize the blocked off window and what is remaining of the nonfunctioning exhaust system located in the basement area that has been blocked off by CMU block. The system will also need a sufficient source of power routed from main floor as there is none in the space. There is currently no functional exhaust service in the area so contractor will be responsible for exhaust fans, associated ductwork, electric, inlet/relief louvers, burglar bars, exhaust system controls as well as safety controls. The successful contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials and supplies required to create a properly functioning system. This project is located at the 500 N. Hilton St. building. Al Minority Business Enterprise are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. This is for Small Business Reserve vendors only. Small Business Reserve Designation Yes
