Reference Number 0000328013 East Warren Avenue Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project The project consists of replacing an existing 8-inch diameter vitrified clay pipe (VCP) located within an easement on private property near East Warren Avenue and Yakima Drive in the City of Fremont. The pipe is part of Sanitary District's gravity sewer system located between sewer manhole J24032 and sewer manhole J23011 Replace 240 lineal feet of 8-inch VCP with 8-inch SDR-26 PVC pipe by open-cut method. Please note that the replacement of 90 lineal feet of the upstream portion of the 8-inch VCP pipe shall be completed and backfilled by October 15, 2023. Under an alternate bid item, replace 150 lineal feet of the downstream portion of the 8-inch VCP pipe with 10-inch DR-11 HDPE pipe by pipe bursting method. Modify the downstream sewer manhole J23011 for new pipe penetration and rechanneling. Provide sanitary sewer flow control to facilitate the replacement work. Rehabilitate the backfill around an existing manhole G24006 located within an easement on private property approximately 0.5 mile west of the Woodside Terrace cul-de-sac in the City of Fremont.
