The McArthur Street Sidewalk Improvements - Phase 2 portion of the work involves removal of existing sidewalk and repl acement construction of approximately 580 LF of new 5' reinforced concrete sidewalk, driveway entrances and curbing and construction of approximately 330 LF of 18" - 30" storm sewer line, and related improvements. The West Stuart Drive Sidewalk Improvements portion of the work involves removal of existing sidewalk and replacement construction of approximately 440 LF of new 5' reinforced concrete sidewalk, driveway entrances and curbing and related improvements. Two Additive Bid Items are also being considered. Additive Bid Item 1 involves removal of existing sidewalk and replacement construction of approximately 320 LF of new reinforced concrete sidewalk, driveway entrances and curbing, and related improvements along West Stuart Drive. Additive Bid Item 2 involves construction of approximately 700 LF of 24" storm sewer line and inlet structures and related improvements along West Stuart Drive. Total Bid Price shall be the sum total of all individual unit price bid items and lump sum items. The Project is funded through the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), EN18-113-272, UPC #113354 and EN22-113-281, P101, C501 , UPC #122098. TAP-5113(030), P101, M501, TAP-5113(033) Owner on its own initiative may issue Addenda to clarify, correct, supplement, or change the Bidding Documents. 7.02 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. 7.03 Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all registered plan holders. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
