Summary This Project consists of the removal of two (2) 30-ton chillers, two (2) 5 Horsepower pumps, and associated piping and accessories at the existing chiller yard serving the short term and long term parking garage toll plaza building that have reached the end of their useful life and require replacement. In an effort to improve system efficiency and reduce maintenance costs, chilled water service will be extended from the mechanical room on level 3 of the long-term parking garage, to serve the toll plaza building, in lieu of replacing the existing chillers. The existing chilled water pumps will be replaced with booster pumps in the same location to ensure adequate pressure is provided to push chilled water out to the toll plaza building. Piping at the chiller yard will be reconfigured to accept the new pumps and intercept the existing lines to the toll plaza building. This scope also includes electrical, and controls upgrades to facilitate the new Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) configuration.
